An important aspect of the overall Spring Creek Development is our commitment to be environmentally responsible. We are demonstrating this in our choice of building products in our retail, residential and business park construction. We are also designing the Spring Creek Neighborhood to keep many of its natural trees and waterways in place. In addition we are landscaping all areas with additional trees and shrubs. Pocket parks for enjoyment of residents and visitors are carefully placed throughout the 64 acres.
Alongside Spring Creek is the City's beautiful greenways system to encourage a healthier lifestyle as residents and visitors can walk on the Greenways throughout the city. Spring Creek donated an area for the Greenways as well as an area where a new Veterans Memorial Park will be built. Visitors can park in the Spring Creek retail area to visit the memorial, or walk along the Greenways System to gain access. We are encouraging a healthier lifestyle and we are making a conscious effort to build green, selecting vendors who adhere to product and environmental performance.
